The Gazette features what could be called “an unusual union in public education.”
As superintendents put their heads together, they came up with a new idea. “High school students from any district will be able to attend for free as part of their public education, but the campus also will be open to military veterans and anyone wanting a new career.”
The Gazette recently interviews two key figures in the development of what has become the Manufacturing Industry Learning Lab (the Mill). Scott Campell and Tim Kistler both answer questions about the idea behind this unique and exciting program, its inception, and how the lab will help students further their careers in manufacturing.
