In early December of 2017, the Colorado Department of Education published a feature entitled: Stories of Promising Practice: Peyton School District Woods Manufacturing Program. This article takes the reader back to 2002, where the idea of the MILL really began to form.

This feature gives the backstory on how Tim Kistler, Superintendent of the Peyton School District, took an idea to create a Career and Technical Education program to fruition. Tim, along with Dean Mattson, began the process of creating the one of a kind program that exists as the MILL today.

Discover the full backstory on the Manufacturing Industry Learning Lab (MILL). Learn about the partnerships, strategy and opportunities for the MILL in this compelling feature.
