The first MiLL students in beginning and advanced Cabinet Manufacturing classes completed their first semester projects. Students learn skills that in the future will enable them to build a complete kitchen. The transformation that takes place in students from day one to the end of the first semester is remarkable. Students enter the program unable to read a tape measure. At the end of their first semester, not only can they accurately use a tape measure but they are also using sophisticated tools and machinery. These young people are learning skills that will serve them the rest of their lives in industry and personally. They are quite proud of their accomplishment and they should be.
